If you’d like to visit both Reims and Épernay in one day, I honestly recommend booking a private driver — especially if you’re a small group. It’s much more comfortable and time-efficient than juggling train schedules or renting a car just for the day.

I’d really like to do both places in one day trip from Paris.
We can train or rent a car; if we rent a car, is it possible to visit Ruinart and Veuve Cliquot in the morning and then Mercier in Epernay in the afternoon or vice versa?
We prefer training it and not have to drive to do the above but will rent a car if it’s the only way to do all in one full day.
Please advise.
